Day 01 Arrival at Yangon By air

ADHVAN representative will receive you at Yangon airport and transfer to the hotel.

Check-in and relax.

Overnight will be in Yangon.

Day 02 Yangon

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Start exploring the city with walking tour in the heart of downtown where you can see Interesting colonial building and history of Rangoon … Indian quarter, Sule pagoda, City Hall, Mahabandoola Park, Independent monument, Immuel Baptist Church, colonial building along Pansodan Street walk along Kanar Street, The classic Strand Hotel, Australian Embassy, British Embassy, General Post Office such as 30 Heritage Buildings of Yangon.

Visit Botahtaung Pagoda located on the Yangon Water Front seeing the interesting believe of locals, Nanthida jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River. Here luxury cruise liners come to berth at this jetty quite often. Proceed to National Museum.  Drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market.

Chauk Htaut Gyi reclining Buddha Image was erected in 1908 by Sir Phoe Thar, 235 feet (70 meter) in length, and 101 feet in height. We can observe the Buddha’s foot print of 108 noble signs which are shown only in enlighten one.

General Aung San Museum was established in 1962. It was a colonial era villa, built in 1921. It was General Aung San’s residence till he was being assassinated in July 1947, the house where Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi grown up as a child.

After lunch, visit Bogyoke Market, which is Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) markets famous for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets. It is one of the major bazaars in Yangoon and built in 1926 by the British. Local merchants offer Myanmar traditional silks, cottons, paintings, tapestries, handicraft, national dress, ethnic fashion, gems and jewelry. You can buy from a simple Myanmar slipper to a jewelry crown there.

In evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda the world famous golden stupa.

Overnight will be in Yangon.

Day 03 Yangon – Bagan By air

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Later you will be transferred the airport to take flight for Bagan.

Bagan is one of the Asia’s most amazing and richest archaeological sites, situated on the eastern bank of the Ayarwaddy River in the dry zone of Central Myanmar, covering an area of 42 sq. km.

Reach and visit Nyaung Oo typical market which is morning market, lively with local products trading of variety of beans, sesame, vegetables, flowers, bamboo wares, various kinds of Thanakar and many vendors are interesting to see.

Next visit Shwezigon Pagoda that is considered to be prototypical of Burmese Architecture, Htilominlo Temple which was built in AD 1211, which can be seen the fine plaster carving still remain on the arch of pediments, Anada Temple which is one of the most impressive and exquisite monuments of Bagan, built by King Kyansittha in 1091 AD.

After lunch, visit Myinkabar village to see Gukyaukgyi Temple (Myinkabar), was built in AD 1113 by the Rjakuma, son of King Kyansittha. The temple is well-known for very rare mural painting.

Visit Manuha and Nanphaya Temple which was built by the grandson of King Manuha in about 11th century in commemoration of his grandfather King Manuha.

When the sun becomes softer, visit Dhamayangyi Temple; the biggest temple in Bagan, the craftsmanship of this temple can be regarded one of the best brick works of Bagan Era. Lacquer ware workplace is to observe the traditional art which heritage from one generation to next for several years stand.

In evening, visit Thabyinnyu Temple which was built in 1144 AD, is about 201 feet (61 meters) high and the tallest in Bagan. After observing Thabyinnyu, we will take a horse cart to the Shwesandaw Pagoda affording unequaled views of Bagan’s landscape.

Enjoy an hour boat excursion along the Ayarwaddy River at Sunset.

Overnight will be in Bagan.

Day 04 Bagan

Have breakfast at the hotel.

BALLOON OVER BAGAN (OPTIONAL): At 5:00 AM, vehicle from Balloon Company will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Balloon ground. The pilot will introduce you about the balloon flight. You will enjoy an hour flying over Bagan at sunrise. After landed, you will be hosted by Champaign by the pilot and transfer to your hotel by 8 / 830 AM. Then, you will have a breakfast and refreshment.

We will start around 1000 AM and drive to palm forest to observe the agrarian lifestyle of this regional farmers extracting palm juice from palm trees and making a local favorite candy with the same palm juice called jaggery.

We will then proceed to Mt. Popa (4981 feet), an extinct volcano, with temperate weather and lush green landscape. Climb to Popa Temple by iron stairways (if you like), enjoy the landscape of Bagan plain.

Lunch recommend at Popa Mountain Resort which offers you enjoyable mountain scenery with nice meals.

We will be back in Bagan and then afternoon will be in leisure.

Overnight will be in Bagan.

Day 05 Bagan – Mandalay By air

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the Nyaung Oo Airport to take flight for Mandalay.

Reach Mandalay and proceed to Amarapura, an 18th Century capital of Myanmar.

Visit Maha Gandayon Monastery to observe the daily meal of over a thousand monks at the country’s largest Monastery. And we will see Silk weaving; the craft specialty of Amarapura, which design silk are especially wear for special occasion for Burmese such as a wedding ceremony or graduation or social events.

Return to the city and check-in at hotel and relax.

Afternoon tour would include Maha Muni Image; the most sacred Pagoda in Upper Myanmar, Gold leaf workshop that we can see only in Mandalay, Shwenandaw Monastery; which can see a master piece of wood carving remain from the era of the last Burmese King, Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 stone slabs of Buddha’s scriptures (known as the world’s biggest book), Mandalay Old Palace.

Later drive to Mandalay Hill; enjoy the magnificent landscape over the city from this vantage point.

Overnight will be in Mandalay.

Day 06 Mandalay

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Later start the day by 9AM, drive to Mandalay jetty. Take an hour boat excursion to Mingun village. Mingun stands on the bank of Ayarwaddy River and is 11 km away from Mandalay.

Pa Hto Daw Gyi Pagoda; built in AD1790 for 20 years long though, the construction was stopped, remained unfinished;   Mya Thein Dan Zedi that was built by the King of Saggaing, as memorial for his beloved wife (and late queen) who passed away one week after giving birth to their son, Mingun Bell; weighs 90 tons and is considered the world’s largest ringing bell that was cast in 1805 A.D.

We will downstream to Saggaing. Picnic lunch will be served on boat while you are enjoying the river scenery of Ayarwaddy River.

Disembark at Saggaing jetty and a short drive to Saggaing Hill which offers panoramic view of Ayarwaddy River, background of Mountain, a home for nuns and their life.  En-route Mandalay, we cross over the AVA Bridge that was built in 1927 during the period of British

Colonials and partly damaged during WWII, renovated in 1954.

We will once drive to U Bein Bridge; a 165 year old, the longest teak bridge in the world, take a walk along on 1.2 kilometer long bridge at sunset. We will have an opportunity to board “Sampan” on the Taung Tha Man Lake.

Evening will be at leisure.

Overnight will be in Mandalay.

Day 07 Mandalay – Hehoe By air Hehoe – Inle Lake By road 35 km in 1hr & boat

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed to Mandalay Airport to take flight to Hehoe. Reach Hehoe Airport and drive to Nyaung Shwe town (01 hr.). En route visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery and then boat transfer to the resort.

Sightseeing starts with visit to Inpawkhon village (to see Traditional weaving Mill), Nam Pan Village; Black Smith, Burmese Cheroot.

After lunch, visit Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, and Floating Garden.

Overnight will be in Inle Lake.

Day 08 In Lake – Hehoe By boat & road 35 km in 1hr Hehoe – Yangon By air

Have breakfast at the hotel.

This morning, enjoy seeing 5 Days Market.

Visit Indein village; magnificent place where thousands of pagodas are clustered in the same complex, supposed to build by one of the kings from the Bagan era. You will love walking through the bamboo forest, climbing the stairways heading to the hill, over viewing the lake.

Transfer to Hehoe Airport to take flight for Yangon.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax.

Spend the day at leisure and explore the city in your own way.

Overnight will be in Yangon.

Day 09 Yangon – departure

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Spend morning in leisure or enjoy last minute shopping.

As per your flight timings, you will be transferred to the airport to take flight back home / onward destination with pleasant memories of your tour.
